8600gt on a 300wattpsu???

You should have no problem running a 8600 on a 300W power supply. The 8600 series of video cards doesn't require a 6 or 8 pin connector for added power. I personally had a 8600 running on that same mother board with a 300W power supply and never had a issue. I hope this helped.
